I am a Life & Empowerment Coach, Individual & Family Advocate, & Mobile Notary on a mission to spread the belief that we are all in control of our own destiny. I have a passion for working with individuals that need additional support and reassurance that everything is going to be okay.
At a very early age, I learned that if something can go wrong, it inevitably will. I used to think I was just clumsy, had bad luck, and blamed anything that went wrong on 'karma.' As I got older I realized that so much of my "problems" came from the thoughts within my own head, and not from some outside force bound to destroy me. I grew up in the city and country, and was fortunate to have been able to have experienced both worlds. I believe this is where I found my true love for nature and appreciation for diversity. By 17, I was working two jobs full-time, while attending my senior year in high school. This is the point in my life when I realized the phenomenon of life picking up speed at a continuously increasing rate.
After graduation, I joined the United States Navy, where I served 5 years as a Hospital Corpsman & EMT. Once my time in service was complete, I returned home to work as a single mother of two young boys. I worked evenings while attending college full-time during the day. I started an in-home assistance businesses where the focus was to help individuals help themselves. I carry this motto in my work & life, today.
In 2012, I was ready for a change in scenery and relocated from Ohio to Arizona with my three boys. I continued my journey of caring for others, both personally and professionally. I hosted international students in my home for 7 years, was a licensed ADH (Adult Developmental Home) for adults with disabilities, and fostered risk youth for 5 years. I worked as a DCW2 (Direct Care Worker) with multiple elderly & disabled clients in their home to maximize their care & daily quality of life. My mother also developed early onset Dementia, & I helped care for her for 4 years.
Since starting my own business in 2003, I have also assisted individuals & small businesses with financial management and bookkeeping to help organize and maximize their full potential in other aspects of their lives. Having a healthy & successful professional life is as important to our wellbeing as having a happy home life.
